A quick note before the numbers: I’m still tied up with my other businesses, so the regular blog schedule is on hold a little longer. Thanks for sticking with me — I’ll be back to my normal posting rhythm as soon as my time frees up. In the meantime, I’m keeping the weekly currency strength analysis running every week so you don’t miss a beat.
Method
As always, gold is the common yardstick. Each currency is measured against gold, which lets us rank all eight against one another cleanly. This week I’ve lined up four timeframes — 2026 (1-Year), 6-Month, 3-Month, and June — and a pair only earns a bias when the stronger currency stays stronger across those timeframes. Strength only. No other inputs, no fundamentals, no chart reading.
Two lists below: pairs aligned across all four timeframes (highest conviction), and pairs aligned across three of four.

Aligned Across All Four Timeframes
| Pair | Bias |
|---|---|
| EUR/GBP | Short |
| EUR/CAD | Long |
| GBP/JPY | Long |
| GBP/CAD | Long |
| AUD/NZD | Long |
| AUD/CHF | Long |
| USD/JPY | Long |
| USD/CAD | Long |
Aligned Across Three of Four Timeframes
These agree on three timeframes with one outlier.
| Pair | Bias | Diverges On |
|---|---|---|
| EUR/USD | Short | 3-Month |
| EUR/JPY | Long | June |
| EUR/AUD | Short | June |
| EUR/NZD | Short | June |
| EUR/CHF | Short | June |
| GBP/USD | Short | 3-Month |
| GBP/AUD | Short | June |
| GBP/NZD | Short | June |
| AUD/USD | Long | June |
| AUD/JPY | Long | June |
| AUD/CAD | Long | June |
| NZD/USD | Long | June |
| NZD/JPY | Long | June |
| NZD/CAD | Long | June |
| NZD/CHF | Short | 3-Month |
| USD/CHF | Short | June |
| CAD/CHF | Short | June |
| CHF/JPY | Long | June |
The Read
The longer-term picture (1-year, 6-month, 3-month) still favors the commodity bloc — AUD and NZD lead, CAD and JPY lag — which is why the all-four list is heavy with AUD and GBP longs against the weaker majors. The one thing to respect is June’s counter-move: USD, GBP and JPY all firmed up over the most recent month, which is exactly why so many of the three-of-four pairs flip there. Where the recent month and the trend disagree, size accordingly.
Same time next week — strength only, gold as the benchmark.
